Frequently Asked Questions
Where is your studio?
Our home based studio is located in Kerikeri and is close to town. The studio is set up in our garage. Its not glamorous but it is effective and ideal for dogs and the occasional deposits they leave behind aren't a problem.
What should I bring?
You are welcome to bring along your pets favourite toys and treats or props that you would like to use. We always have treats available but if your pet has any food allergies please bring some treats that are OK for your pet.
How should I prepare for the shoot?
It helps if your dog has some basic training but certainly not a requirement. If you are going to have your dog groomed before the session, have this done a week or two before the session to allow a little regrowth. The eyes are the most important parts on your pets face so if they are quite fluffy around the eyes we advise a good brush and maybe a little trim.
What if my dog is shy or anxious?
We allow as much time as needed for your dog to settle in and feel comfortable in the environment. We expect most dogs will need time to get used to the environment, this is totally fine! We allow as many little breaks as needed.
Do you photograph other animals?
Our main focus is dogs but we are happy to work with all types of pets.
How do the backdrop colours work?
When confirming your booking you will be given the option to choose your backdrop colour from the colours available.
